Comments:
I read this book for 2 reasons: first, my niece loves it. She told me it’s better than The Hunger Games, which I really liked. Second, I’m going to be meeting the author at Book Expo America in a couple weeks and I didn’t want to meet her without having read one of her books.
Since there are thousands of reviews of this book online already, I’m not going to review it. I will say that I did like it (not as much as The Hunger Games though) and if you like dystopian literature and underdogs coming out ahead then you’ll probably like it too. There are a lot of questions left unanswered but I’m hoping that maybe they’ll be answered in the next book or two.

I’ve read both her book and have the release date of the final instalment of the trilogy written in my calendar! She is such a wonderful author! Would love to meet Veronica. I recommended these books to a lot of my students and the uptake has been phenomenal. Dystopian fiction is in, and this is definitely one of the best of the genre!

I plan on reading Insurgent soon but I’m not in too much of a hurry since I’ll have to wait on Allegiant to come out. I think this genre is great for encouraging young people to read but I enjoy them just as much as they do!

I know! They’re great! Sometimes I worry that I’m not a “real reader” because I absolutely love Young Adult Fiction. I have to read them for my job anyway but over the last two years I’ve become addicted (guess its great if it means I love my job!). If your niece likes these books she might like to try The Maze Runner. Another gripping DF series! 🙂

I’ve been reading all different genres lately but I’m also becoming addicted to the YA fiction. I will tell my niece about The Maze Runner but I have a feeling she’s read them. She reads everything she can get her hands on.
