Review:

The world of vampires and demons is not my favorite but I read this book as a beta reader. Personally, I don’t get the attraction to vampires and I don’t enjoy reading about their bloodlust. That being said, Susan Harris is an excellent writer and was able to keep my attention even though I didn’t particularly like the premise. Her writing is easy to read and flows well and the main characters are well developed. I even liked Luka, the vampire Cassie loves.

The story is fast paced which I always like. You can’t get bored reading this book. Cassie is a very strong character but the one thing that bothered me was the constant swearing, especially by her. Her character would have been just as strong without it.

If you like vampires and demons I recommend this book. Available on Amazon.
