    These are great. A number of German words would qualify, including Gemuetlichkeit, Backpfeifengesicht and Geisterfahrer. Played for amusement in this wonderful youtube:

      Actually, Gemuetlichkeit isn’t covered in this video. “Gemuetlichkeit” is the state of being in a social situation where you feel at ease, cosy, comfortable, not deliriously happy but happy nevertheless.
