My Review
I have read most of the Paradise books and I always look forward to reading the next one. They are full of action, humor, suspense, and mystery but are also quick, fun reads.
Madison Westin and her best friend, Fabiana, are always getting into trouble. While they can often get out of scrapes themselves, they often get reluctant assistance from their boyfriends, Creole and Didier. They both complain about the girls getting themselves in over their heads, but they always help them when push comes to shove. I love all the different relationships and not only how the four care for each other, but how Madison’s family considers the others one of their own.
This time there is a serial killer on the loose and Madison is determined to find out who it is, especially since bodies are showing up on her properties. Of course, nothing is simple when it comes to her and Fab.
Deborah Brown’s writing flows well and is easy to read. Executed in Paradise is full of action, suspense, and humor. No matter what is happening, there’s always room for a little humor in the Paradise books.
Even though Executed in Paradise is part of a series, it does stand on its own. I highly recommend it and I hope there will be more of these books in the future.

I‘ve been writing, in one way or another for as long as I can remember; writing poetry, short stories, a romance novel secretly stashed under the bed and sappy love letters. Fiction should be fun. I wanted to create the perfect beach book, to make the reader laugh, cry and cheer… and then run out and tell their friends about it.
My love of reading began when I was seven, the day I opened the cover of my first Mrs. Piggle Wiggle book. Mrs. P gave lessons to other children in how to behave and to me I learned to love the written word. I live with my family and demon children aka rescue cats in South Florida.
