I have noted these posts (this one and the one for June 30), and have hesitated to comment. Does this mean that your mom did not survive the treatments? If this is so, my sincerest condolences. If the posts are anticipatory instead, then my apologies.

Thank you for your condolences. My mom was diagnosed with acute leukemia and died just 12 days later. She was 80 years old but she was so healthy until then (she was even still on a bowling league), that we were all in shock. I didn’t post anything more on here because we’ve been dealing with the funeral, etc., and my 83-year-old dad who is lost without her.

You have good timing because I’m at the point now where I have a little time on my hands and although I can’t talk about it yet, I can type about it. I appreciate you asking.
