I have been looking for a good slow cooker cookbook for a long time. This one is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The prep time is short and the cook time is slow. And the recipes I’ve tried so far are delicious. I’m always looking for new ways to cook chicken, and there are several in The Ultimate Slow Cooker Cookbook that I’m wanting to try.
If you haven’t used a slow cooker much, the first chapter has “Slow-Cooking Basics” that will be helpful. Then there are nine chapters that have everything from breakfast to dessert. So many of the recipes look yummy! There is also a chapter called “Basics” that tells how to cook things that are used in many recipes such as vegetable stock or caramelized onions.
I’m so glad I got this book, and I definitely recommend it if you use a slow cooker.
