My Review

I received a free ecopy of this book for an honest review.

I read the first book in the WhipEye Chronicles, WhipEye, so I was looking forward to reading Gorgon, the next book in the series, and I liked it even more. These are fantasy adventures for young teens and the adventure is non-stop in Gorgon.

Sam and Jake are teens who saved our world in the first book and they are facing new challenges now, a year later. Not only do they need to find the antidote to heal their parents after they’re poisoned, but they are the only hope to keep our world from being taken over by Gorgon.

I like Geoffrey Saign’s writing style. His descriptions make it easy to visualize not only this world but KiraKu as well.  Gorgon is full of adventure and suspense and has a couple of surprises along the way. I think young teens, as well as older readers, who like fantasy will like it.

About the Author

Geoffrey Saign can often be found looking for interesting critters, and magic, while swimming, snorkeling, sailing, or hiking in the woods. His passion for nature and wildlife led to WhipEye (Winner, 2015 International Book Award; Winner 2015 Outstanding Children’s Fiction, Top Choice LitPick.com), and previously his nationally endorsed book, Green Essentials: What You Need to Know About the Environment, as well as his books African Cats and Great Apes.
