“How to Eat your ABCs” is the first of many books aimed at motivating both children and adults alike to fall in love with the world around them as well as the world within. This first in a series of educational books is focused on the joys of eating fruits and vegetables. Narrated by BuzzBee (a happy healthy honeybee who just adores kids), this book of rhyme has every letter of the alphabet represented by a farm-fresh food.

My Review

I chose to read this book after receiving a free copy. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased.

This is a great book for children! First of all, it teaches the ABCs. Second, the words it teaches are all fresh, healthy foods, such as A is for apple, B is for berries, etc. There are even words for Q and X! I never heard of xoconostle but it is a fruit that comes from cacti. So there are even words in here for adults to learn.

The illustrations are bright and colorful and will keep the interest of a young child. And the text is in verse so it’s fun to read. I definitely recommend this book for children who are learning their ABCs.
