My Review
I chose to read this book after receiving a free copy from the publisher. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased.
Although this book wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, I did find it helpful. I have chronic pain and this does work a lot of the time. What I found interesting is that I’ve instinctively massaged trigger points not knowing why it helped, especially when I have headaches.
As with anything, you need to individualize what will work for you. I don’t find it helpful to do all 4 steps all the time. Treating the trigger points works mostly for me, but the other steps can help certain pain at certain times.
Trigger Point Therapy Made Simple is exactly that…simple. It’s easy to understand. It also has illustrations of the trigger points. I recommend this book for anyone looking for help with pain. It’s especially helpful nowadays when pain pills aren’t readily available for those with chronic pain.
