My Review

I chose to read this book after receiving a free e-copy. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased.

Brilliant Baxter is a cute children’s story about Eliza, her grandmother, and her dog, Brilliant Baxter, going to the fair. Initially, I was surprised that Brilliant Baxter is a dog but they are lucky to bring him along because he can sense danger.

The story is fun to read not just because of the contents of the story but because of the rhyming verse, which will keep the attention of young children. The illustrations will also keep their attention because they’re bright and colorful.

If you’re wanting a short, cute, well-illustrated story that includes a pet, Brilliant Baxter is a good one.
