I chose to read this book after receiving a free copy from the publisher. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased.

The English Grammar Workbook for Adults is a workbook for adults who want to brush up on their grammar. It’s good for anyone who wants to be confident when writing whether it’s emails, business correspondence or projects, school work, or online. It’s also good for those learning English as a second language.

The book is set up so that it explains an element and then gives you a chance to practice what you’ve just learned. It’s also color-coded to make it easier to find the section you’re looking for. This is one of those books that you can read from front to back or pick out sections that you feel the need to brush up on.

About the Author

Michael is a native New Yorker who has been helping language students from all over the world learn English since the early 1990’s. He began his formal language-teaching career in Sendai, Japan in 1994. Since then, he has worked in the ESL field as an instructor, a teacher trainer, an academic director, and a language school director. In 2004, he earned an MBA in Global Management.

Michael is the founder of Happy English, an English tutoring company in New York City. He teaches private English lessons in New York and online. The Happy English mission is to connect the global community by helping people learn to speak English fluently and confidently. Michael believes that language study should be both enjoyable and practical, so he provide English instruction in a comfortable, professional atmosphere focused on each student’s individual needs.
