My Review

I chose to read this book after receiving a free e-copy from the author. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased.

This is an introduction to the series Growing Up Aimi by a young author and her dad. They write of her experiences growing up bi-culturally, and By Cows Who Chew Lilies is about things she remembers from when she was younger. For example, she didn’t understand when her parents were talking about raising her by cows who chew lilies (which I just learned means bi-culturally). She didn’t see her parents eating lilies and didn’t understand why she was supposed to.

There are other sweet memories that are good stories for children to read. It’s interesting to learn about this amazing young girl’s life.
