This is another good story by Aleks Harrison about Max. One day, his father performs an act of kindness, and he explains that being kind to others will make Max feel good about himself. Max performs several acts of kindness that day and he realizes that his dad is right! He likes to be kind to others!

I Like to be Kind inspires children to be kind which is so important, especially right now when there are so many negative things going on in our world. It is presented in rhymes that flow naturally, and the illustrations are bright and colorful. The rhyming and illustrations will keep the attention of children. Aleks Harrison’s books are the best kind. They are not only books that children want to read, but they teach important lessons as well.
