My Review

I chose to read this book after receiving a free copy. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased.

What a fun book to read! It reminds me of reading a Dr. Seuss book with the rhyming and the crazy words such as Vanderloo which, by the way, is in the land of Dimble De Doo. The illustrations by Jenn Polk are as good as the text. They are vibrant and are an excellent addition to an already great story.

Not only is this book fun to read, but it teaches that it’s okay to be different. In fact, when and entire community agrees to be different, then everyone is accepted just as they are. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if that’s how our world was?

I definitely recommend The Red Fence and can’t wait to read it to my grandchildren.
