My Review

I chose to read this book after receiving a free copy from iRead Book Tours. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased.

When the children come home, they can tell that Abuela (which is Grandma in Spanish) made gingersnaps, but all they find is crumbs! They follow the crumb trail past the usual suspects: the cat, the dog, their mom, and finally they find the thief!

This is a cute book with colorful illustrations. The sentences rhyme, and the text is easy to read so it’s a good one for young readers. I’m looking forward to sharing this with my grandchildren.

The author has a good sense of humor. The book is cute, but her dedication is as well: “To all the Sorta-Ricans, just like me.”
