My Review

I received a free ecopy of this book for an honest review.

This is an adorable book! Dave is a young sawfish who is sad because everyone at school makes fun of his long nose. His parents tell him that his nose is important and that he shouldn’t listen to the other children but he can’t help but have hurt feelings. When he is able to save the day with his sharp nose, everything changes.

The pictures in Dave the Brave Sawfish are colorful and it’s a cute story. The best part, though, is that it teaches children that it is okay to be different. We shouldn’t be sad if we are different from others because those differences are what make us who we are.

This is definitely a good bedtime or read aloud story.
