My Review
I received a free ecopy of this book for an honest review.
DiSemblance starts out as your typical young adult book with Jason, a 17-year-old who has a crush on his neighbor, Boston. It soon turns out to be more of a suspenseful murder mystery. Once I got into it, it was difficult to put down.
Shanae Branham’s writing style is easy to follow and is geared more to young adults. I like that the chapters are short since I often have to do this or that in between reading and the short chapters help with having to set the book down for a minute or two.
The story is told from 3 points of view: Jason, Boston, and the detective. This is a great idea and makes the story not only more suspenseful but also makes it more difficult to put down.
Anyone who likes mystery suspense will love DiSemblance.
Available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
