Why would I want to be married to an alien?
I should not have applied to TerraMates! The idea was crazy. I’m a young woman, in the prime of my life.
But I was desperate.
When I landed on another world, his appearance intrigued me. He dripped sexuality and moved like an animal. We have three days together before he sets sail without me. Am I going to escape or submit to my desires?

My Review
I received a free copy of this audiobook from the author for an honest review.
Ashlyn decides that she must become a mail order bride through TerraMates so that she can pay off her brother’s gambling debts. At the same time, Nathaniel needs to wife so that authorities won’t suspect that he’s not just a scientist but also a pirate…a good pirate, like Robin Hood.
Talk about sacrifice! Ashlyn goes to another planet to marry Nathaniel, whose planet is mostly water. They only have to be married for a year and then they can dissolve the marriage if they want. Ashlyn thinks she should be able to endure a year with this man.
I enjoyed listening to Water World Warrior as Ashlyn and Nathaniel get to know each other. They don’t plan on being physically attracted to each other, let alone falling in love. Will they be able to work out their differences and actually end up being a happily married couple?
Narration was done by Addison Spears and Terrence Bayes. I thought they both did a good job and it made the book even better to have the characters’ different points of view narrated by a man and a woman.
I recommend Water World Warrior for anyone who enjoys a good romance. Warning: there are a couple explicit sex scenes.
