My Review

I chose to read this book after receiving a free copy. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased.

At the end of Miracle Man, Bobby came out of a coma and had lost his genius. Now, he and his wife Christina are living under assumed names and are under government protection. They actually have a “normal” family life…at least that’s what they thought for a while. Bobby’s genius returns and it’s obvious that his daughter has inherited his genius too.

All Bobby wants to do, has ever wanted to do, is use his genius for good. He cured several diseases in the past but now he’s up against the same forces he was before; not only his own demons and the government but more. 

I liked Miracle Man, but I liked The Austin Paradox even more. The characters continue to evolve (or devolve) and although this isn’t a thriller in the usual sense, it’s still a page-turner. I definitely recommend reading Miracle Man first. There’s a lot that happened in the first book and this is a continuation. Although it touches on what happened in the past, there was so much in Miracle Man that puts occurrences in The Austin Paradox into perspective. 

Based on the end of the book, there could be a third book on the way. I hope so!
