Do you know …. why people sneeze? Or why the sun is round? Or why birds don’t fall when they sleep on a branch? If animals are allergic to humans? You can learn all this and more, about dinosaurs, lizards, the human body, and many other topics in this book.

I’m sure everyone loves awesome facts … and there’s no better news than a totally random and fascinating fact that changes your entire perspective on the world. And if you like reading random facts like these, this book is definitely for you.

My Review

I chose to read this book after receiving a free e-copy from the author. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased. I read Jokes for Kids last year and thought it was a good book for kids to read especially at that time to help alleviate boredom. Since I liked it, I was happy to read Amazing Facts for Kids as well.

This book is great if you like trivia. As an adult, I learned a lot so adults will probably enjoy it as much as kids. For example, did you know that mongooses aren’t afraid of venomous snakes? Are mongooses dumb or crazy? No. Snake venom doesn’t hurt them because their cells are different from other animals in their protein composition.

There are a lot of interesting facts about animals, the human body, space, Earth, natural phenomena, marine animals, water, and more. I knew a few of them but many were new to me. So if you like reading about random and interesting facts, Amazing Facts for Kids is a book to check out.
