Angels and demons, God and Satan, heaven and hell ~
What do you do when you find out
that these things are not some made-up fantasy but they are real?
that these things are not some made-up fantasy but they are real?
And not only are they real but you were created to fight in warfare against the demons?
Hannah’s life is turned upside down when she
discovers that everything she thought was fictional is actually real. Everyone
she loves is in danger and to top it off, she learns that she is a Devada. She
was created to kill demons.
Will she be able to learn and master her Devada
abilities before the demons find her?

This is one of those novels in which the main character, Hannah, is a normal teenager whose life is turned upside down when she finds out that she’s anything but normal. Although it begins with this common theme, it moves quickly into its own story and I really enjoyed it.
x
Along with all of the demons and angels there is also a touch of romance, which was sweet. Hannah’s character was well developed and it was fun to read about her emerging powers.
x
The only things about this book that I would change are the misspelled words and frequent tense changes. I tried to overlook them but they seemed to get worse as the story progressed. Despite that, I still recommend Devada.

Armageddon is coming…
Hannah is a Devada, a special breed created to
kill Satan’s chosen four ~ his Kings of hell. Hannah is on the hunt for the demons responsible
for the death of her parents. Their gruesome bodies still haunt her dreams.
Will these nightmares ever end? Will she get to know peace once more?

When Raum was sent to Oklahoma to help a young
girl transform into a Devada he knew there was something different about her.
She wasn’t like any other Devada he’d known. When secrets are revealed he is
surprised at how special Hannah truly is.

This is the second book in the series. I received a free ecopy for an honest review.

Divulgence starts a few weeks after Devada ends. Hannah’s primary goal in this book is to find her father, who is supposed to be dead, but she is convinced he’s alive. Her other goal is training so that she can kill the kings of hell.
x
There is more action in this book than in the first one but not too much fighting, thank goodness. There was more death than I’d like to see but I guess that’s to be expected in this typo of book.
x
The character of Hannah continues to grow and her relationship with Raum is rock solid. I like that they chose to wait to have sex…that’s always refreshing.
x
This is a great series! Thankfully, this book had very few typos. I definitely recommend it and look forward to reading the next book in the series.
