It’s Not My Favorite is women’s fiction and a nice break from all of the fantasy and horror I’ve been reading lately. It’s a quick read that will make you laugh and make you cry.

The characters are believable and Rachel and Gwenn are actually in better shape emotionally than many people would be after being raised by their judgmental parents. They have a great relationship that many sisters would envy. The thing I liked most was that Gwenn and Daniel Gregory each have a lot of issues but, for the most part, they act like adults. That’s not real common in this genre.

I recommend It’s Not My Favorite to anyone who enjoys chick lit.

Rue graduated from Pepperdine University in Southern California with a degree in Journalism.
