Sought is the third book in the Brides of the Kindred series. I had listened to the first 2 books, Claimed and Hunted, about twins Olivia and Sophia, and the warriors who claimed them. Sought is about their best friend, Kat, who is in grave danger unless the twin Kindred, Lock and Deep, can figure out how to help her. Olivia and Sophia also find out that they have a cousin, but she has been kidnapped by the Scourge so they don’t know if they’ll ever get to know her.
I like the characters in these books. I love the way the Kindred warriors protect the woman they love. Lock and Deep are no different, but Deep and Kat both have issues to overcome and they’re both as stubborn as can be.
I don’t read a lot of erotic romance but I think these books are great. I like the way Evangeline Anderson incorporates sex into the story. The people who are in love physically need each other. I can’t wait for the next audiobook from Evangeline Anderson!
Warning: this is an erotic romance so if you’re not comfortable with a lot of sex and sexually explicit language, don’t read this book.
