Jeff Baker calls himself a “simple man” but I would beg to differ. Using his experience with farming and nature, he has crafted an inspirational book. He shares his challenges with us and how he has changed his life through a journey through nature and a journey within himself.
A journey within one’s self is much harder than whatever nature can throw at you. At least in my opinion, Jeff Baker takes the journey with courage. We can all learn something from him.
A Journey Within somewhat reminds me of the book by Cheryl Strayed, Wild. Fans of Wild are sure to love this book as well but it is really for everyone to enjoy, savor, and receive inspiration.
I give A Journey Within 5 stars. I received the e-book for my honest review.

Mitchel Baker is a graduate of Texas A&M University, living in San Antonio with his family. He has dedicated his life to ranching and managing natural resources, and continues to be a student of all things visceral. He is currently working on his sequel to A Journey Within as he stumbles awkwardly toward a higher consciousness.
