My Review

I chose to listen to this book after receiving a free audio copy from the author. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased.

I have read several post-apocalyptic books by Kate L. Mary and have enjoyed them all. This is the first book in The Oklahoma Wasteland series, and I’m sure I’ll be reading them all. The book starts with the end of the world as we know it, but it quickly fast-forwards to Regan and Kellan surviving in this new world.

There’s not much down time in The Loudest Silence. Regan, Kellan, and the group they’re with have a good sanctuary but they are still dealing with constant threats. Zombies are one of the threats, but other people are more dangerous. How can they trust anyone?

The ending was a good place to stop, but I was glad that I had the next book in the series, because I was ready to listen to more!
