Review:
I received a free ARC for an honest review.
Stolen Dreams is the fourth book in the Cassie Scot series and, although I liked them all, this is definitely my favorite.
Christine Amsden’s writing style flows well and is easy to read. There are a lot of characters in these books but I had no trouble keeping track of them, which I often do, so her descriptions are good enough to keep everyone straight even for me.
I’ve always liked Cassie and Evan, the two main characters. I get annoyed with Cassie at times because she is so stubborn but at least she is able to work things out eventually. The other characters are all unique in their own way.
Stolen Dreams has it all: action, suspense, a Hatfield/McCoy type feud, everlasting love, and pure evil. It made me laugh and made me cry. I will miss the Blackwoods and the Scots.
I highly recommend Stolen Dreams, but I suggest reading the series in order to get the most out of the books.
